Our trip to Vegas finally came last weekend. We spent many hours in the car to make it down for the
GARTH BROOKS CONCERT! We left Thursday night made it to Alpine. Friday morning we drove the rest of the way to Vegas. As soon as we arrived we checked into our hotel, freshened ourselves up and headed to dinner and to the concert. We ate at probably the fanciest buffet I have ever seen inside the Wynn Hotel where the concert was. It was an expensive meal but totally worth it. The concert started at 8:00 pm and we were in our seats at 7:30. There was not a bad seat in the house. The auditorium seated on 1,500 people. We had seats on row S right in the middle of the row. There was no band, just Garth Brooks and a guitar. It may have been the best concert I have ever been to in my life. He sang some of his classic songs like The Dance, Rodeo, Thunder Rolls, To Make You Feel My Love, etc. Mostly he sang covers of other people's music that influenced his life. He was hilarious and extremely entertaining. Trisha Yearwood came out and sang a duet with him and one of her own songs. At the end of the concert he did a Q&A, which may have been my favorite part. After the concert we wandered around the strip for a while until we were so exhausted we couldn't stand it anymore. Saturday, more walking the strip, shopping, tasting Coke products from around the world, M&M factory, wandering the huge hotels, etc. Saturday night, a friend of Jake's is the stage manager for one of the Cirque De Soleil shows and got us free tickets to the show in Treasure Island. We got to sit in the sound booth and see all the acrobats flying through the air at eye level. The show was another highlight of the trip. We met up with Jake's friend after the show and chatted for a while. We left Vegas around 2 am and headed to St. George for the night. We got in around 4 am! After a few hours of sleep, we headed home. We were delirious pretty much the whole ride home but had a great time talking and laughing with the friends we went on the trip with. It was quick trip but worth it!
Inside the Wynn Hotel where we ate dinner at the Buffet and went to the Garth Brooks concert. It was so pretty inside, probably my favorite hotel there.

Our taste test of the different Coke products around the world. One from Italy was completely nasty and left a horrible after taste, the rest were not too bad.

Bellagio Fountains

The view from our seats in the concert. We couldn't take any pictures or videos during the concert and the hotel security kicked out many people for violating the rule.

This would be my husband.

Brandi, Trevor, Jake and I in our seats at the concert.

Jake and his friend Brett that got us the tickets to Cirque De Soleil.
